MINI BIOGRAPHY

       Brigadier General Md Mostofa Iquebal, afwc, psc was commissioned with 35th BMA Long Course on 13 December 1996 in Army Services Corps. He attended number of courses at home and abroad. He is a graduate from Defence Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur. He is also an armed forces war course alumni. He has undergone Petroleum Oil and Lubricant Course and Quarter Master Course from China and obtained Diploma degree. He obtained his Masters in Defence Studies from Bangladesh National University. He has also completed Master in Business Administration through Executive Master in Business Administration Program from American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB). He is now undergoing MPhil Program under BUP. Besides serving in various ASC Units, he has commanded 35 Supply and Transport Battalion and acted as Chief Instructor in Army Service Corps Centre and School. He also served as General Staff Officer-2 in Military Training Directorate, Deputy Assistant Quartermaster General (coordination) in Quartermaster General Branch and Grade Staff Officier-2 at Overseas Operations Directorate of Army Headquarters. He has served as Directing Staff in Defence Services Command and Staff, Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster General in Headquarters 33 Infantry Division and as General staff Officer (Grade 1) at Headquarters Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC). He has participated in United Nations Peace Keeping Operation as Military Observer in MONUC (DR Congo) and as Staff Officer in UNOCI (Ivory Coast). He has visited few countries including Switzerland, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, USA, Singapore, Thailand, India, Nepal, Maldives, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sudan, DR Congo, Saudi Arabia, Liberia, Ivory Coast, China, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Japan, Vietnam and Uganda. In his personal life, Brigadier General Mostofa is happily married to Dr Tasnova Zerin Iqbal who is serving in Ever Care Hospital Limited as Senior Specialist. He is having a son named Tanish Zayan Iqbal and a daughter named Mehwish Zahra Iqbal.
